Considering i'm not going to college at the moment I decided to do something vaguely constructive with my time so as I am going to get tattoos in the future i was looking at what i could get, i came across a few ones i like and began dooling my own. These are the results :) they're not great quality drawings or anything but there we go :)
there we go :) hope you like them and don't think they're too rough! :)

cooking :)
I didn't go into college today so after watching ice age 3 and eating about 14 scones I decided I needed to do something productive. The result of this was some lush soup and some weird buns that I haven't touched yet.
My soup (above) was lovely, I made it up as I went along but it was all vegetabley and yummy, although I realised after that we have no bread so I just at it as is. But still!
These are the buns i made... Attempted to make then vaguely healthy bu sticking apple rings on them but they just ended up looking like they were made by a 5 year old, ho hum! I enjoyed myself, and that's what counts... i'll just let the others eat the weird appley ones:)
Well this blog's only a short one today, but just think it shows sometimes you just seem some time out to do dumb stuff you did when you were five and just be alone and relax :)

Happiness Project - What Makes Me Smile
However corny this may sounds, this is my happiness project. I thought a good start would be writing things that make me happy, as my lucky number is 7 (why this is I have long forgotten) I thought I would base my lists around this.
1) Photographs... the above photo is a memory when I cant remember just being completely happy... it was about two years ago and my closest friend and I were messing around at our local park taking spashots and she caught this one of me. My hair's a mess and i'm not dressed up or made up but i was just genuinely happy. Now when I see it just remember that feeling, I love that photographs can do that. There will be plenty more being posted!
2) Morocco... This August my sister and I ( follow her blog too!)are volunteering in Morocco for three weeks. This is really my goal, to be happy and understand happiness better by then so I feel i can genuinely help the children we are working with, as well as have the experience of a lifetime. Oh hey it's 7 months until then... coincidence.
3) Music... I played viola for nine years, the realised I was shocking at it so took up what i had really enjoyed all along which was singing. I am now working towards my grade 6 on this, and am working on my guitar skills to accompany myself at the minute... my guitars are basically what keeps me sane.
4) Art... I am taking A level art and I hate how much of a chore it has become. Ever since I was young i have painted and drawn weird patterns on whatever paper surface is closer to me. My dad has finally agreed to let me pain my walls however I want, so once i have the money i will buy every colour of paint under the sun and pain massive O'Keeffe style flowers on my walls. A happier environment will lead to happier thoughts is my theory :) Also, you can call me a geek, but i love studying art. As in looking at famous artists or unknown ones nobody has ever heard of and just enjoying what they do, seeing what it teaches me and taking inspiration. In february I am going to Paris with my college for an art trip and we get to see the original Van Goghs and the Mona Lisa. So excited!
5) Writing... As you can see I do tend to ramble, I have always loved writing... when I was younger I was more into fiction but at the moment I love travel writing, just telling people where i've been, how it smelt, sounded, tasted. I am going to start working on some samples to take around to the small papers and magazines around my hometown and just see if anyone will take anything I have written. This leads me on to my first of seven goals for this year...
GOAL ONE - GET AN ARTICLE PUBLISHED
6) Unplanned things... You know those happy days when college is cancelled because of snow, so your friends all end up at someones house and laugh 'til you cry, or your sister and you end up making blogs just because you can.... well I love that. The other day I had my guitar with my at college and a friends (Daizy) got it out and started to play a simple tune, soon it was being passed aroung and we were all singing and playing our own bits, inventing beats on the table and freestyling with the first lyrics that came into our head. For that hour I forgot everything else and just smiled. The point in these moments is you don;t plan them... but i hope another one comes along soon:)
7) Senses... Everything you can experience in life is based around the five senses... like how silky my cats fur is compared to the stubble on her back where she was shaved for an opperation or how i can hear the vibration of my sister player her bass through the floorboards when she's home. I like the smell of early mornings when you're camping and you wake up when everything is still covered in little diamonds of dew and the smell of bonfire night and tea and my mum. I like anything that sparkles, fireworks, jewllery, the eyes of people who are smiling, glitter. I like the taste of oranges and baked beans and brussel sprouts (call me mad but I do!) and of kisses and strawberry chapstick and sugar off doughnuts and greasy fish and chips.
Come to think of it there is a lot of things I like... I shall update more as I go *smile* :)
